The experience
A journey out, a table by the water
It begins on the Bergen waterfront. You pull away from the city, the harbour falling behind, and the open coast opening ahead. Wind, spray, and that first rush of speed as the fjordland unfolds around you — islets, skerries and quiet water that few ever see up close.
The ride carries you out to Porsvika 125, a coastal seafood destination tucked into the rock at the water's edge. Here the pace slows. A fresh tasting is laid out before you — the catch of these waters, prepared with care and served where it was pulled from the sea.
Then the return: the same thrill, softened by good food and better company, the coastline glowing as you head back toward Bergen. It's not a boat trip and it's not a dinner — it's both, woven into one unforgettable afternoon.
