Who we are
Bergen Fjord Safari is a locally owned RIB tour company, based right in Bergen city center at Strandkaien 16. We run small-group fjord safaris and private charters year-round — built on a simple belief: the fjords are best experienced close to the water, with someone who knows them well.
Whether you join one of our scheduled departures or charter a boat for your own group, you'll be with a small, independent operator that lives and works in the city you're visiting.

Our tours run through some of Norway's most iconic fjord landscapes — from Bergen's colourful waterfront and the Byfjord to the narrow Mostraumen channel with its roaring tidal currents, and along the quiet, roadless shorelines of the Osterfjord.
These waters aren't abstract destinations for us. They're home. And we love sharing them.
Safety first, always
Every tour includes an experienced, certified skipper and full safety gear — flotation suits, life jackets, goggles, gloves, and hats, sized XS to 4XL. Our RIBs are maintained to premium standards, and our crew is trained in maritime safety and first aid.
We keep groups small on purpose. Fewer guests mean more space, better visibility, and a more personal experience. Your safety is non-negotiable, and we'd rather reschedule than take a chance.
